Annual
Fund
A note from our Music Director, Frank Nemhauser:
I do but sing because I must —Alfred Tennyson
“We too must sing, and we do. We’ve made great strides these last few years and we’re sounding better than ever. Help us continue the rich tradition tht is the Westchester Choral Society. We’ll continue to add beauty to the world, one note at a time. Please do your part, one monetary note at a time.”
Our Annual Fund drive remains a vital source of income that permits us to
continue to attract audiences in Westchester and the surrounding communities
in order to maintain our reputation for excellence. The joy of performing
great choral music always presents its challenges. We are volunteer singers.
Our substantial dues and ticket sales provide only about half of our annual
expenses which include the cost of rehearsal and concert venues and fees
for our musicians and soloists. We rely on your kind support as much as
your presence at our concerts. May we continue to count on you and add your
name to our list of donors this season? Since we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
organization, your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
Please take a few moments to consider this appeal and send in your contribution(s),
indicating how you would like your name(s) to appear in our concert program
with any designation such as "in honor of…" or "in
memory of…", noting on your check that this a contribution, and
kindly make your check payable to
