We too must sing, and we do. We’ve made great strides these last few years and we’re sounding better than ever.

A Message from our President

 

Welcome to an outstanding season of concerts by the Westchester Choral Society, celebrating our 67th season!

 

The joy of communicating the power of choral performance is not without its limitations, however. The WCS consists of auditioned volunteer singers. Because ticket sales and substantial membership dues cover only about half of our season’s expenses, including presenting the finest soloists and musicians, we ask for your support.

 

Your financial endorsement is vital, as is your presence at our concerts. Substantial validation by the Westchester Arts Council, the New York State Legislature, and by public, private and corporate sectors over the years is heartening. Please join our other donors in keeping alive the magic of our live choral performances, with energy flowing both ways between singers and audience. It is your commitment that enables us to continue our role as a prestigious award-winning leader in Westchester’s cultural life.

Annual Fund

Our Annual Fund drive remains a vital source of income that permits us to continue to attract audiences in Westchester and the surrounding communities in order to maintain our reputation for excellence. The joy of performing great choral music always presents its challenges. We are volunteer singers. Our substantial dues and ticket sales provide only about half of our annual expenses which include the cost of rehearsal and concert venues and fees for our musicians and soloists. We rely on your kind support as much as your presence at our concerts. May we continue to count on you and add your name to our list of donors this season? Since we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
